Do you open or bless the mala?

No. We string, wax, box. Ritual is yours. We will not print a mantra on the card.

Is the huanghuali Hainan?

The two huanghuali SKUs are sold as Hainan Dalbergia odorifera, with an origin note and a raking-light photograph of that strand. Buy with the photograph in front of you. We do not argue after the note has left the box.

Will zitan get shinier?

Yes, from skin. We ship it dry, not piano-lacquered. If you want it to stay matte, wear it less or keep it in the pouch.

Can you re-cord?

Once in the first year, if a knot fails. After that, at cost. Do not cut the silk yourself if you want us to match the original count.

Agarwood smell faded.

That is the wood emptying into the air. The sealed vial is a memory of day one, not a refill.

Wrist size

18-bead elastic wrists fit about 15–18 cm. Write a measurement if you are outside that. 108 malas are a loop, not a bracelet.
